AAU Coach's Box

The saying “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care” comes to mind.

Many of us started coaching because we want to make a difference. Some where along the line someone made a positive or negative impact in our lives and we want to make sure the negative actions do't happen again or we want to ensure these young athletes benefit from the mentorship we received or the sport skills we picked up along the way. Young athletes benefit from youth sports. They stay active and involved, they learn teamwork and how to work with others and it provides opportunities for personal growth and performance.

We recognize your sacrifice.

Sometime it may not seem like it is appreciated by kids, parents, spectators, etc.... but potential impact you have on your athletes lives can build a bond that can last for ever and possibly be what they needed to live a productive life.

You owe it to these athletes to Be the Best Coach You Can Be!

Constantly Learn

The AAU recommends all adults working with youth athletes take the free online course from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Heads Up program.
