The National Rankings can be subjective and create a lot of debate and discussion but we take every effort to produce a quality product for our AAU Districts. The rankings are ONLY as good as the data we receive. If you review the standings and you think the data may be off please talk to your AAU Football District Director.
Each category of rankings can be viewed by clicking the tab on the left. Once clicked you will go to the AAU Football or AAU Cheer Ranking Page. Use the filters to select the ranking you want to view. Rankings will be updated weekly for all districts using the system.

HOW TEAMS ARE RANKED?
The AAU Football Cheer & Dance National Ranking System will include the highest score from any Football Cheer Districts, Regional, Nationals, Virtual, Hybrid or Grand National events. All events must use the YCADA rules and regulations for scoring to be eligible for rankings, and all participants must have a current AAU membership. All AAU Football Cheer Competitions will be classified as an open event to include any teams, individual, duos or trio’s competing under the AAU Football Cheer & Dance umbrella.
“Top Honors” teams and athletes in each division listed below will be awarded an “AAU TOP HONORS”. All Teams, Individuals, Duos and Trios, must compete in person at the Grand National Event to be eligible for #1 ranking in the country.
Top Honors
ALL cheer and dance teams, individuals, duos, and trios, who compete in one of the District, Regional and National Events will receive a ranking score. The score will include your overall performance score and your chorography score. The overall score will be used for rankings and the chorography score will be used only to break any ties. Athletes may compete in multiple competitions to improve their score however, the highest score earned will be the one use for Top Honors ranking.
